we (hubby, kids and i) reached Johor Specialist at nearly 3 pm..was drizzling for a while ..met the rest at the lobby; Aunty Zaharah & Kathy, Kerol & ita with their two kids and indeed...julie's face has this rashes..so called butterfly rash..i noticed that...deep down inside of her..she's a strong lady...

Received a call from my 'mak angkat', Aunty Zaharah that her second daughter, julie is in Johor Specialist..was admitted yesterday due to SLE. After i off the phone, i straight away browse the internet to know more about this SLE..of i know Seal, Heidi Klum's husband is suffering this and my friend's daughter..Kak Yati's daughter..syikin..hem..hope you will recover soon..i will be coming to visit you this afternoon kay..stay healthy gal..here is a little info what is SLE which I got from the net..

Menurut Pakar Perunding Perubatan dan Rheumatologi, Jabatan Perubatan Hospital Selayang, Selangor, Dr. Ong Swee Gaik, penyakit SLE merupakan penyakit kronik berpanjangan yang berlaku akibat kecelaruan sistem pertahanan tubuh iaitu autoimmune disease.
‘‘Sistem pertahanan tubuh merupakan rangkaian sel yang bertindak melindungi tubuh daripada serangan benda asing.

“Sistem pertahanan tubuh yang normal akan menghasilkan antibodi apabila ia mengesan organisme yang masuk ke dalam tubuh untuk mengelak serangan jangkitan organisme berkenaan. Antibodi yang terhasil akan menyerang organisme tersebut untuk mempertahankan tubuh,” katanya.

Malangnya bagi seorang pesakit SLE, antibodi yang terhasil menyerang sel-sel tubuh sendiri yang menyebabkan organ di dalam tubuh pesakit mengalami keradangan.

Katanya, penyakit ini kadang-kadang sukar didiagnos pada peringkat awalnya kerana gejala-gejalanya tidak begitu ketara. Ini adalah kerana gejala-gejala awal penyakit SLE tidak spesifik termasuk rasa letih lesu, demam, sakit sendi dan keguguran rambut.

Kebanyakan pesakit SLE (70 hingga 80 peratus) mengalami masalah kulit. Selalunya bahagian muka akan terjadi ruam yang dikenali sebagai malar rash atau butterfly rash. Ruam ini terjadi di bahagian pipi dan hidung dan oleh kerana bentuk ruam ini merupai bentuk sayap rama-rama, ia juga dikenali sebagai butterfly rash.

Ruam ini terdapat di bahagian badan yang terdedah kepada cahaya matahari iaitu di bahagian muka, leher dan lengan. Pesakit SLE juga mengalami keadaan di mana kulitnya lebih sensitif kepada cahaya matahari dan ruam yang dialaminya akan menjadi lebih merah apabila terdedah kepada cahaya matahari.

Oleh kerana penyakit SLE boleh melibatkan pelbagai organ dalam tubuh, penghidap SLE akan mengalami gejala yang berbeza di antara satu sama lain. Selalunya, menurut Dr Ong, gejala penyakit ini terjadi di bahagian muka dahulu iaitu ruam-ruam di muka, ulser di mulut termasuk lelangit, dan keguguran rambut yang ketara.

Antara tanda-tanda dan gejala-gejala yang dikaitkan dengan SLE ialah ruam-ruam pada kulit muka dan badan, kulit yang sensitif kepada cahaya matahari, ulser pada mulut, keguguran rambut, sakit dan radang pada sendi, demam yang berlarutan, rasa letih-lesu, sakit di bahagian dada apabila bernafas (pleurisy) dan vasculitis (radang pada saluran darah).
Penyakit ini buat masa ini, menurut Dr. Ong, tidak boleh sembuh tetapi ia boleh dirawat dan dikawal.

Kak Ju just sms'ed me that she is making so called chocolates..sounds interesting..can i sell? hem..just wanna share with viewers that i haven't seen the product yet..i thought of dropping by her house this afternoon, but i geared my driving straight home after sending hubby to Seri Alam..kids & I stopped by Kip Mart..went to Marrybrown..had small fish burger..kids have taken their lunch at kindergarten..just took a small portion of marsh potato each...and went home straight..while i was driving i thought of gearing to kak ju's but since hasya hemm..poo poo..gotta get back home..perhaps tomorrow i will drop by her house..

kids have fallen asleep..i am still blogging while watching 'akademi fantasia 7', 2 johoreans (akim & yazid) are still in the show..that makes me thinking why we johoreans like being an artist..get glamour..bling-bling..amy search and few other singers and actors are from johore..born to be a performer kot..am i or am i not????

i did participate in Talentime during Sec. School, way back in 90s..huhh..malu ar kalau ingat-ingat balik..pakai kasut platform, dress merah East India..outdated dah...kalah lak tu!...tapi tak per...it was such a wonderful experience... i sang 'I'll never get over you (getting over me) by Expose...the lyric..really meaningfull & it touched me that time..to bring back my memory..hem..mushy..mushy..that time i was just broke up with my old click because he ignored me since he moved to Seremban..well, now of course i am okay cause God has given me the best life partner whom i love with all my heart..papa..i love you..yo..yo...

Managing Morning Stress..

Mom is crying over a crying kids..have you experienced this???

Haziq..layu..on our way to kindergarten

Have you experienced being so waxed up over a rush of getting your kids ready for school early in the morning? if you did, we are in same boat then...i gotta get ready and doll up for work and at the same time layan karenah kids over this and that...getting haziq a.k.a along out of bed is a another dreadful experience and to make him had his shower..hem not to mention brush teeth, breakfast ...that was really tough…i did browse thru the net for a tip or two on how to get start with kids early in the morning....very useful tips..huh..i wonder whether i can do it..you can log on too if you are of in the same boat as i am...the add is http://www.parenting.org/behavior/manageableMornings.asp

1. Decide what time you need to walk out the door to be to school on time. (i always do and often break it....)

2. Make a list of the things that need to be done in the order they are to be completed. For young children drawings or pictures maybe helpful on the list. Get dressed Brush hair Eat breakfast Take medicine Brush teeth Put coat and backpack next to the door
(sounds good!!!)

3. Identify with your child a preferred activity he/she would enjoy doing after the rest of the list is completed when he/she has at least 5 minutes of time to spare before it is time to leave. (Both Haziq & Hasya love watching tv..poccoyo in the morning..)

4. Hang the list in a location the child can monitor. (will they understand????)

5. Inform your child he/she is to do each task on the list and check them off as they are completed. (do i have time to do this????)

6. As your child engages in and/or completes a task provide specific praise for doing so (e.g., good job getting dressed, your hair looks good). You may say things like “Just 2 more tasks and you get to watch TV.” “Wow, you are doing great, I be you will have time for piano this morning.” (always do this but fail to make him stop whiningggg..)

7. When your child gets everything done with time to spare, make sure he/she gets to do the fun thing. Be equally diligent in making sure he/she does not get to do the fun activity if everything is not done on time. (can we get to do this with little time that we have???)

8. Walk out the door on time! (tried and though on some occasions we failed but most of the time..we managed to reach our destinations...just in time..argh..)

The tips are meaningful and easy to follow..well..will try and gotta start the drawing soon..to all mamas out there, it is not easy to bring up little 'khalifah' of ours..sure it gives us headache but it is a worthwhile kindda duty that you will never forgo for anything else for the rest of your life...

Who is she?...47 years old..

I am not a fan of Susan Boyle yet I am one of those people out there....deeply touched by her..I am so touched that I am strongly agreed with Simon that she is a little tiger (naughty remark huh..but it's funny). Soothing voice and she is 47 years old and wanna be successful as Elaine Paige!!!..argh..she got the biggest YES ever. Little country spinster whom never been kissed before. It is sweet that she had never heard of Ashton Kutcher but heard of Demi Moore sometimes..and she has this cat, named Pable.. if I am not mistaken..argh..you should go to Youtube and get yourself mesmerised by her loud and full voice. I just love her..heard she's coming to Big Oprah's show soon. Hem..Larry King already did her.. Go..go and watch it...

Gaya seorang model???

Hari ni aku pakai tudung Ariani which I bought recenty. I love this because it has one tone..comfy material and kemas...My first piece of Ariani's out of xx pieces..tu pun nasib baik they openned one in JB otherwise I won't have a chance to wear one..had the intention to go to the boutique last year during Ramadhan but the crowded place of KL really pissed me off. Had little shopping at Semua House & hated it so much cause too many people..Anyway my next aim is to have one from Munawarah..Jeolous tengok Kak Z...bile nak gi KL ni? To Nurihan..bila kau nak belikan aku hah...

Perempuan-perempuan..tak habis-habis dengan topic fashion; shoes, clothes, lipstick and we can talk for hours over it..though I am not that brand conscious but hey..if I can get one..who cares..oleh itu..Nurihan..don't forget my size ; S/M.

Monday Blues!!!

What a Monday!!.

After such a long break due to 'tembel' ....berat nak naik kerja. Today Haziq 'tuang' sekolah..tak sempat nak kemaskinikan dia..shortcut, terus hantar dia ke nursery together with Hasya. Off to office, left kids at nursery in the good hands of the caretakers. Since my domestic helper 'Fatma' left after helping me for one month, I have become a super wonder woman..siapkan haziq ke sekolah early in the morning...iron his shirts and everything...dan bila tak sempat, terpaksalah kitaorg hantar ke nursery saja. Macam pack barang pulak...Talking about Fatma, what makes me so sad ialah she said she cannot tahan taking care of haziq because he is too naughty and always sick..well...with a big thank you over the phone, I have no regret letting her go as she was not that sincere being my pembantu rumah..that keeps me thinking of my former pembantu rumah that is Ita whom very close to me ..finished her contract with me and now back to Palembang..anyway...at least 'Fatma' terus terang that she can't handle kids..kalau dia dera my kids lagi haru biru dunia pulak nanti kan....ini semua ada hikmahnya...kids growing healthy at the nursery.Happy kot dengan kawan-kawan sewaktu dengan mereka.

Clocked out from office at 6.30 p.m. tumpang boss sampai bus stop and waited for hubby for few minutes and had dinner at Restoran Sasa..nasi lemak for kids, nasi campur for hubby and nothing for me..well I had mine, nasi ala subcontractors for my lunch, an early prepaid dinner at 4.00 pm at office just now..had this hotdog 1901...so delicious. Collegue ordered dan kebetulan Fauzi (my collegue, next to my table) on MC so aku ambik share dia. Rezeki but of course gotta pay RM2.00.

Ever since 'Fatma' resigned, I have never cooked a decent meal for my family. Goreng telur, masak bubur for kids with ikan goreng ade la...We always tapau'ing from nearest diners like Restoran Ruza and Badee from breakfast to dinner. Thanks to hubby sebab tak bising, I guess he understands that I can't take another extra hours at the kitchen after such a long hours at the office..for that I really salute (standing ovation ni) those working women who cook, cause I know sangat letih..But one thing interesting is that I love watching program masakan...love seeing those chefs..to name a few that I know thru this passion of mine..watching tv of course are Oliver the naked chef, Chef Ramsey from the Hell Kitchen and another one from the tv show called Take Home Chef, an Australian with Brit accent. Another program that I like are Restaurant Makeover and Opening Soon..I love the tension behind this reality tv show but me...still don't like to cook..hah..hah..

The 'in thing'

All 4 have different indulgence at the moment. While hubby is so much into fishing..jgn ngorat sudah la..kids so in love with smooch..ice cream.. sampai haziq dah tak der gigi depan..hasya still maintain with her beautiful gigi, but worries still..and I tengah gila makan kerepek..kerepek pedas power..been promoting to friends...ha..ha..to those who bought it, love ya.. to those who still have not rasa yet..do ring me up for an order or two. Go for locals..leave those munchies yang tak berkhasiat..ehem..ehem..macam la health concious sgt kan..

Saja nak post this..buat kenang kenangan masa bercuti kat Genting Raya 2008.. seronok dan penat..what a big family of us. Glad got married into this family of 10. plus anak buah of more than 10..havoc seh..gerek...meriah..pecah rumah!..cakap pasal ramai..kalau balik kampung..part tido yang best..kat sana ada satu family, kat sini satu family..hem..sesak nafas tapi kalau tak join the crowd...rugi..banyak cerita yang nak di cerita bila dah kumpul ramai-ramai..tapi aper aper pun..semua happy sebab asal balik kulai..makan..every 30 minutes...you just can't let go of the dining table...ada je yang nak di kunyah...ni belum balik kampung moyang kat kuala masai..pecah perut bila raya...makan dan terus makan...well, sebab tu la org kata..kenyang perut senang hati..


Whatever it is I am blessed being part of this beautiful family. May God bless us all. Thanks Abah & Mama for being so kind and patience to all of us.. Not forgetting my beloved ayah & aunty at Taman Mawar. They compliment my life, being such a strong pillars thru thick & thin. Amin..

kids mandi kat luar dengan Alif (my lil brother) with atok layan them at Taman Mawar..so called kampungku la..so lovely. I love all of them sangat2. I promised them to go for swimming next week. Hopefully cuaca ok so dapat la pegi..hasya is a bit kuat but abang long haziq, I ve got to be very careful as I do not want him to fall sick. Alif is paling kuat...he can swim straight 3 hours and ayah got to carry him to get him out of the pool. happy to you all..
